Simon is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with more than 25 years’ commercial property experience.
He joined Kingfisher Property in June 2005 and was appointed Director in December 2006, before it was acquired by Crestbridge in March 2018. He is responsible for the majority of the funds for which Crestbridge acts as operator, trustee, depositary and AIFM. He also structures joint ventures typically between institutional fund managers and specialist property asset managers and has raised senior debt for numerous income and non-income producing properties. His first hand transactional and financing experience provides him with an excellent understanding of the dynamics of property development and investment as well as the associated financing and holding structures adopted in the UK.
A Land Management graduate from Reading University, he subsequently trained with King Sturge (now Jones Lang LaSalle) and spent the following 5 years in the real estate division of PwC Consulting. Thereafter he spent 5 years at KPMG Corporate Finance, becoming a founding member of its real estate financing group. He is a corporate finance graduate of the London Business School and a member of the Investment Property Forum. He is also an FCA approved person and performs the firm’s CF10a (CASS oversight) function.
