Crestbridge appoints Governance Services Director
Crestbridge has appointed Tim Ridgway as a Director in the Governance Services team.
Based in Jersey, Tim will act as a fiduciary for alternative investment funds and fund management firms, with responsibility for the management and oversight of client structures.
Tim has significant experience in the financial services industry. He initially worked in investment banking in London, where he held corporate finance roles at Deutsche Bank and UBS, focused on equity and equity-linked financings, executing deals for corporates, private equity firms and Governments across the EMEA region.
More recently he gained relevant ‘in house’ operational experience with two alternative asset managers: firstly as COO of a Global Macro hedge fund, and then as COO at one of the pioneering firms trading digital assets.
During his career Tim has acquired knowledge of various regulatory regimes through his frequent interactions with multiple national regulators, including the JFSC in Jersey and CIMA in the Cayman Islands.
Tim holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and is the CAIA Association Chapter Executive for Jersey and has completed the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme. He also holds an MA from Oxford University and a Graduate Diploma from Cambridge University.
Ana Kekovska, Group Head of Corporate Services at Crestbridge, said:
“Alternative managers are increasingly demanding high-quality support in navigating a rapidly evolving operating environment. Tim’s nuanced understanding of the operational and business risks at asset management firms – gained through direct experience - alongside his grasp of client priorities and motivations, makes him a valuable addition to Crestbridge’s Governance Services offering”.
Welcome to Crestbridge Tim!
