Crestbridge strengthens its Corporate Services team

Based in the firm’s Jersey office, Danny will be responsible for oversight of merger and acquisition (M&A) deals, services to complex structures and acting as a Director on a number of entities, which will benefit from his strong legal background.

Danny brings with him over 15 years’ experience as a lawyer in the corporate and commercial industry.  His most recent experience was a senior position with international law firm, Appleby, in Jersey advising on corporate finance transactions, international mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, listings and regulatory issues. He has also acted for a broad range of corporate clients both in terms of size and diversity of industry sector, as well as acting for banks, insurers and other financial institutions.

The news of Danny’s arrival comes after the team was named ‘Corporate Services Team of the Year 2016’ at the annual ICSA Jersey Awards, last year. The winners were judged by a panel of independent industry experts with the Crestbridge team selected based on ability to provide effective thought leadership, show an understanding of the complex legal and regulatory environment, and to play an added-value role in the governance of the organisation.

Graeme McArthur, CEO, Crestbridge, commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Danny to the firm as he brings with him a strong legal background which will greatly benefit our already award winning corporate services team. We pride ourselves as an organisation that demonstrates extensive knowledge in a highly complex legal and regulatory landscape and Danny will make an excellent addition to our offering.”

Crestbridge’s Corporate Services teams supports blue chip institutions with a broad range of complex transactions, including private placements, initial and other public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, joint ventures, domiciliation services and holding and disposal of assets. The multi-jurisdictional team comprises lawyers, chartered accountants and chartered secretaries.
