Crestbridge Luxembourg Managing Director to moderate at ALFI Forum

Daniela Klasén-Martin will moderate a session exploring the impact of MiFID II on asset managers at an ALFI Forum next month.

Daniela will moderate a panel session at the ALFI TA & Distribution Operations Forum, taking place at Abbaye de Neumünster in Luxembourg on 4 June.

The Forum is an annual focal point for the industry, bringing together global transfer agents, distributors and fund service providers. This year, the event will look at how a new generation of investors is impacting expectations, explore the role fintech is playing in supporting an evolving industry and its operating models, and assess how legal and regulatory developments are impacting operations.

In her afternoon session, Daniela will sit alongside leading asset managers to review the impact of MiFID II since it was introduced 18 months ago, and focus on what it means in practice for asset managers, transfer agents and distributors.

Commenting ahead of the event, Daniela, who is Group Head of Management Company Services, Managing Director Luxembourg, said:

“The regulatory environment continues to evolve at speed, and incredibly we are already approaching two years of MiFID II being in play. There’s no doubt it has had real implications for asset managers, distributors and transfer agents in terms of reporting, their approach to target markets and distribution trends. I’m looking forward to moderating this session and trying to help shed some light on whether MiFID II has achieved its objectives.”
