Crestbridge Family Office Service Continues to Expand with Managerial Appointments

Chloë Sorda, newly appointed family office manager, brings over 13 years’ experience to the business. She has a strong knowledge of multi-jurisdictional private company and trust structures holding a variety of asset classes, including UK commercial and residential real estate. Chloë also has experience in the administration of real estate fund structures and AIM listed companies.

Having completed the Chartered Secretary Qualifying Scheme in 2012, Chloë is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. She previously worked at Bedell, a global provider of offshore legal and fiduciary services headquartered in Jersey.

Victoria Hibbs has also joined Crestbridge’s Family Office team in an assistant manager role. She has strong experience of private wealth and corporate structures covering multiple jurisdictions, including high end residential real estate owning vehicles and companies with substantial investment portfolios. Victoria, a Chartered Secretary, has also looked after a number of trust structures in the offshore and philanthropic areas working directly with both international and local charities.

Crestbridges’ Family Office business, which was launched in June 2013, focuses on assisting family offices and family advisers with the administration and structuring of various vehicles used as part of family office arrangements, including companies, trusts and other holding vehicles.

Based across Crestbridge’s offices in Jersey and Luxembourg, the team specialises in the administration of multi-generational and multi-jurisdictional family assets. It was established in response to growth in family wealth emanating from markets in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia, where Crestbridge has particular expertise, and subsequent specific demand for specialist cross-border family wealth administration.

Paul Perris, Managing Director and Head of Fund and Family Office Services, said:

“Since its inception ten months ago, our family office service has seen its number of clients increase significantly, with both Jersey and Luxembourg continuing to prove attractive European locations for the management of family wealth, particularly from emerging markets in Europe and Asia. Our team is growing alongside this heightened demand and I am delighted to welcome Chloë and Victoria, both of who bring a wealth of experience with them that is of real value to us and our clients. These appointments illustrate Crestbridge’s commitment to further developing the family office service to meet the demands of our growing list of clients.”

Crestbridge’s family office service complements its wide portfolio of business areas, including fund administration, real estate, corporate and capital markets services. Crestbridge has a 15 year pedigree in financial services, administers over US$50 billion of assets across multi-jurisdictional structures, and supports a broad range of blue chip corporate clients, including FTSE 100 companies, major institutions, banks, pension funds, private equity and venture capital firms.
