Crestbridge champions gender equality through Real Estate Balance membership
Crestbridge has become a corporate member of Real Estate Balance, underlining its commitment to championing gender equality and driving change across the real estate sector.
In becoming a member, Crestbridge will play an active role in helping Real Estate Balance to achieve its mission to champion gender balance in the real estate sector and promote changing corporate culture to enable women to realise their full potential.
Established in 2016 and with more than 80 corporate members, Real Estate Balance is an association run by a group of female and male leaders from different organisations and disciplines engaged in real estate who are focussed on addressing the gender imbalance in the sector.
Sue Brown, Managing Director of Real Estate Balance has provided a quote: “We are extremely pleased that Crestbridge have become corporate members of Real Estate Balance to support us in our quest to ensure that we can get increased numbers of women into senior positions in the real estate industry and to support the idea of the industry being open to all. We are particularly happy to have organisations like Crestbridge in membership because they operate in so many different territories”.
Simon Todd, Group Head of Real Estate Services at Crestbridge, added: “We absolutely recognise that we have our part to play in advocating positive change in our industry to achieve better diversity, gender equality and a more inclusive approach, and we have been focused on these aims in numerous ways in recent months.
“Our membership of Real Estate Balance, which is a well-established body championing progress in this area, is a clear statement of intent on our part to play an active role in transforming our industry, ultimately enabling us all to do better business.”
