Crestbridge to attend STEP New York

Members of Crestbridge’s Family Office Services team will attend the 15th Annual International Estate Planning Institute, organised by STEP and the New York State Bar Association, in New York this month.

Heather Tibbo and Jonathan Bain from Crestbridge will attend the two-day annual event, being held at the Crown Plaza, Times Square on 14th – 15th March.

Attended by a broad range of trust and estate practitioners, bankers and accountants from around the world, the event will feature a number of guest speakers and panel sessions exploring key and current issues pertinent to cross-border planning where there is a US element. In particular this year, speakers will focus on areas including transparency and information exchange, multi-jurisdictional trust structuring and strategic approaches to charitable giving.

Heather Tibbo, Group Head of Family Office Services at Crestbridge said: “Increasingly we’re seeing families with multi-jurisdictional needs including a US element looking for professional advice and support when it comes to wealth and succession planning. Particularly in a heightened climate of scrutiny of wealth structures and reporting obligations, it’s vital that families get the professional advice they need to navigate a complex path. With that in mind, I’m delighted that we will be in attendance at this year’s Institute in New York to discuss these vital issues.”
