Crestbridge directors to speak at IFI Global conference
Two directors from Crestbridge’s multi-jurisdictional Management Company (ManCo) teams will be speaking about the impact of Brexit and BEPS on alternative fund managers as well as the growth of ManCo platforms at a leading event in the asset management industry this week.
Daniela Klasén-Martin, Managing Director, and Country Head Luxembourg, and Elliot Refson, Director, Jersey, will both speak at the IFI Global annual Winter London conference, also sponsored by Crestbridge, entitled “The Changing Structure of Alternative Asset Management” on Wednesday 31st January.
The event will be held at Browns Courtrooms and will host a debate that will focus on Brexit, BEPS, ManCo platforms, domiciliation and fund structuring and will attract an audience of investors and fund managers. Both Daniela and Elliot will be partaking in panel sessions at the event to talk about ManCo platforms.
More specifically, Elliot will sit on a panel discussing the evolution of third party ManCo hosting platforms. This session will have a particular emphasis on risk management and developments offshore.
In the second panel session, Daniela will be discussing ManCo development in the EU. This session will examine recent developments at ManCo hosting platforms in Ireland, Luxembourg and Malta.
December 2017 marked the second anniversary of being granted a licence to provide ManCo solutions to Jersey funds for Crestbridge. The company has since seen the value of assets it holds across its Luxembourg and Jersey super ManCo structure rise to more than US$8 billion and is citing further regulation and Brexit-driven growth this year.
