Crestbridge announces new London office
The firm will be providing specialist accounting, reporting and administration services from its central London offices in Charles II Street, St. James's where it currently employs a staff base of ten highly skilled individuals. The move strengthens the firm's current service offering, particularly in the area of accounting and reporting as well as providing UK based services for clients managing REITS and other UK based funds and other structures.
Crestbridge already provides services from its existing offices in Jersey, Luxembourg and the Cayman Islands to real estate structures holding in excess of $20 billion of assets in multiple jurisdictions.
Responding to specific client demand for UK based real estate administration, accounting and reporting services, Crestbridge has already been working closely with leading real estate specialists WSM. With effect from today, the WSM Property division (WSMP) has become part of the Crestbridge Group.
Headed up by Director Steven Morrice, a chartered surveyor with 25 years’ real estate experience who has held senior positions at a number of commercial property companies, the London office will provide clients and advisors in the City with convenient access to Crestbridge’s services and support.
Steven commented:
“We are delighted to be opening a new office in the heart of London and to be welcoming the team from WSMP. The combination of their specialist real estate and accounting knowledge and the wide range of administration and reporting services offered by Crestbridge will place us at the forefront of the real estate services sectors both in the UK and internationally.”
Paul Windsor, Senior Partner at WSM, which will continue to provide a broad range of business advisory, accounting and insolvency services, said:
“With our Property Division having worked regularly with Crestbridge in recent years, we see this as a very exciting opportunity to evolve that relationship and create a powerful and competitive proposition for the UK market place. This move provides clients with a wider range of high quality services under one roof and gives us a compelling new proposition to work with new clients who need an experienced and proactive onshore and offshore service provider.”
The board composition of the new London office includes Paul Windsor as well as WSM partner, Gavin Stebbing, who are able to offer significant knowledge and understanding to support the needs of the real estate community.
Crestbridge Chief Executive Graeme McArthur added:
“This is a hugely exciting move for Crestbridge which gives us a presence in the world’s leading international finance centre, and builds on our international real estate and corporate expertise to extend our reach to UK based structures, drawing on the considerable, specialist market leading experience of our new London team. Opening this office will give clients in the UK new options and allow them to choose a market leading, high quality service provider.”
